More fun With Literary Band Names: Edgar Alan & The Po Boys

Posted by Jason Diamond I think I’ve figured something out: when metal bands take names from the literary world to name themselves, they tend to be more straight forward.  Prior examples examined on this very website include, ORWELL, Thoreau, and yeah, Wuthering Heights…the band. Garage/surf rock bands from the 60s seemed to have a bit more fun playing around, and weren’t as serious as bands today are.  Example: Edgar Alan & The Po Boys.
