We’ve long been admirers of the work of Eugene Lim. His two novels to date, The Strangers and Fog & Car, abounded with atmosphere, surreal imagery, and a sense of mystery. As the publisher of Ellipsis Press, he’s released terrific books by the likes of Norman Lock, Joanna Ruocco, and Evelyn Hampton. So we were happy to hear that next year will bring a new book from him, Dear Cyborgs, to be released by FSG Originals.

Lim’s is one of several books that said imprint will be releasing next summer that’s caught our eye: they’ll also be publishing new books by Vol.1 Brooklyn favorites Jac Jemc and Samantha Hunt. We interviewed Lim in 2013 about The Strangers, and touched on everything from shifting identities to cruise ships.
