Among the books we’re most excited for in 2016 is Modern Lovers, Emma Straub’s forthcoming novel. The cover, from Leah Goren, has just been released, and Entertainment Weekly has a short interview with Straub and Goren about both the novel itself and the process of creating the cover. And the description of the novel, about aging former bandmates now residing in the same neighborhood, has our interest extremely piqued. Modern Lovers is due out on May 31st, and we’re excited to read it when it does.
