Author Toni Sala and Translator Mara Faye Lethem on “The Boys” and “Morality in Difficult Times”

Toni Sala’s The Boys is an examination of how a tragedy affects both those closest to it and those at a further remove. It’s set in the aftermath of a car accident that kills two young men, and traces the lives of four characters who grapple with its effects. (You can read an excerpt from it at Tin House.)
