Today would have been the 124th birthday of Marc Chagall.  I grew up going to various houses and places of worship with reproductions of his paintings adorning the walls.  After about fifteen years of that, I began to associate his works with bar mitzvah lessons, sugar free candy, and other various Jewish things, and I couldn’t stand the site of any of it.

Things change, and I have Ferris Bueller to thank for that.
