The monthly Vol.1 Brooklyn Reading Series makes its return with four fantastic writers at a new venue: Brooklyn Winery in Williamsburg.

Starting tonight at 7 PM, we present:

Justin Taylor, whose “Everything Here is the Best Thing Ever” was one of our favorites of 2010, and whose forthcoming “The Gospel of Anarchy” will probably be one of our favorites of 2011.

Fiona Maazel might read from her novel, “Last Last Chance,” or from the one she’s been working on.

Justin Maurer comes to us from California, and has released a chapbook on Future Tense Publishing. His forthcoming “Doctor, I Don’t Wanna Be Crazy Anymore” will be published on the Vol. 1 publishing imprint, Julius Singer Press, in 2011.

Deenah Vollmer is working on a non-fiction book about Los Angeles told through the perspective of a celebrity dog sitter. She contributes listings to “The New Yorker,” as well as reviews and essays to “The Rumpus,” “The Faster Times,” and other outlets.
