David Berman in New York This Sunday

I promised myself I’d make no mention of his former band (Silver Jews) so I won’t.  I will only say that the Leonard Cohen of our generation is going to be in New York this Sunday for a reading and discussion at the NYU Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House, 58 West 10th Street (btw 5th &  6th).  It’s probably the best fifteen bucks you’ll spend.

    I am just about gutted I will miss this by 4 days in one direction and 3500 miles in the other. I wish I hadn’t put “Silver Jews” into Twitter’s search.
